Results - What Accounting Software do you use?
Recently, we reached out to CCA membership to inquire about the type of accounting software CCUs are using. Here are the results:
CCU’s using Quickbooks: 7
Microsoft Dynamics GP (Alternatives uses this)
CIS Software
Financial Edge, which is a Blackbaud product, for our accounting software. It meets our needs as it allows for very specific grant fund accounting and reporting requirements.
We use Workday and would not recommend.
ABILA/MIP Fund Accounting and I’ve been using it for over 17 years and I do like it. It takes some getting used to but works very well with keeping different counties, funds, programs separated out but then can still be pulled together for one total report on the entire agency.
We use RSM for all accounting services. Started back in 2021. We worked through the unique challenges of the CCU world, and now it runs like a well-oiled machine.. I would definitely recommend them to another CCU – but it is an investment. https://rsmus.com/
